Are you ready for the next assignment? Here are some of my favorite things

Interpreting doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in classrooms, courtrooms, hospitals, hotel lobbies, and behind screens. These are the items I actually carry, in my car, in my bag, and on my desk, to stay prepared, professional, and grounded.

In My Car

I spend a lot of time on the road driving to assignments. This dash cam gives me peace of mind, whether I’m parked at a courthouse or commuting on the freeway. It records automatically, and I keep the footage looped unless something important comes up. If you're on the road as much as I am, this is worth having.
